Designed and built by architects Nick and Steve Tidball, this absolutely picturesque blue floating home was inspired by fairy tales, and it's easy to see why. The quirky, bright exterior combined with a small but playful interior make this home unforgettable! Charming is just one of the words that comes to mind upon entering this precious home, inspired by Primrose Hill architecture as well as Pixar films.
Though the home does float on the Thames River, it looks and feels just like a traditional home and even has a yard! The living room/seating area/lounge offers a buttery yellow interior and sophisticated, fun accents, like a vintage telephone and patterned rug.
The kitchen area houses a sink, cabinets, and drawers as well as this really cool steering wheel! What an eye-catching addition!
The first bedroom features a double bed, seafoam green walls, and plenty of space to sleep comfortably. Nicknamed the "Turquoise Room," the bedroom offers sheer white curtains and a beautiful view of the river outside.
The second room, named the "Blue Room," has baby blue walls and an airy feel, complete with white bedding and sheer curtains. The double bed sleeps one or two guests comfortably, and the atmosphere of the room is simply relaxed!
A bedroom offers a small sink, quirky round mirror, toilet, and stand-up shower.
Check out the backyard! There's even a dog house, bird house, and a garden!
Can you imagine this view? It doesn't get much better than this!
