Step inside this farmhouse style tiny home with an interior so luxurious, you'll forget you're in a RV

With its growing popularity, tiny-house living has crossed the threshold from being just a trend into a full-blown movement. It’s now a lifestyle choice that encourages downsizing and learning to live with less. It promotes simple living, intending to be kinder to the environment.
According to Mike Timmons, sales manager for Recreational Resort Cottages and Cabins, one of the favorites among all of the company's tiny homes is the Cardinal. This RV measures 399 square feet: 15 feet wide and 32 feet long.

The Cardinal’s stark, predominantly white exterior is a sight to behold. The 6-foot front porch is quite impressive. Its composite decking is not only durable but also environmentally friendly.
Its white James Hardie exterior siding, which is waterproof, fire, and pest resistant, protects both the exterior and the interior of the house longer. The black rebar rails, as well as the black metal roof in contrast to the white posts and siding, add a touch of elegance to the tiny house.
A floor-to-ceiling shiplap accent wall stands between the living room and the stairs with a narrow banister that leads to the loft. The double picture windows with clerestory windows above them make the living area look bright and spacious.
A classic black Duffy fan hangs from the high ceiling. A creamy white upholstered coach sits tucked in the corner while a
patterned rug defines the cozy space.
In keeping with the farmhouse aesthetic of this home, all of the kitchens’ cabinets have been painted white. Silver bar pulls were chosen for the cabinets and drawers. A wide glass window above the sink looks out to the scene outside. Double clerestory windows let in more natural light. The sleek farmhouse sink made of stainless steel serves as a focal point.

The stovetop oven, as well as the convection oven, offers options for cooking favorite meals. Open the door, next to the full-sized refrigerator with a stainless steel exterior, to reveal a stacked pantry.
A pocket door was used for this house as an entrance to the master bedroom. One side of the wall features a single clerestory window that allows both natural ventilation and light to enter the room. On the other wall, there’s a mini AC and heat split unit. You have the option to put in a full-sized, queen-sized or a king-sized bed in this space.
Another pocket door allows access to the walk-in closet. As you enter, there’s a dedicated space, separated by a wall, for a stackable washing machine and dryer. In the closet area, real wood was used for the double open shelves with rods for hanging clothes.
A third pocket door in white serves as the entrance to the bathroom. Storage cabinets sit on top as well as below the countertop. Right above the toilet, frosted glass windows provide that much-needed privacy in this space. Inside the shower, vertically placed Cararra tiles make a showy statement. The elevated ceiling in the shower area allows even tall people to use it.
A hickory-colored rail leading to the loft matches the hickory-stained stairs. Additional storage can be found in the pull-out drawers under the steps of the stairs.

The loft serves as a perfect place to put another bed in the house. The built-in cabinets in this space can be used for storing more items. A window on each of the two opposite walls makes the area looks more spacious despite the low ceiling.
