Don't look down on this home's size: The brilliant interior design says otherwise

Custom-built as a cabin-in-the-woods hideaway, this tiny home features 160 square feet (14.9 square meters) of living space with ten Anderson windows providing lots of sunlight and beautiful views of the outdoors.

Currently owned by a man identified on his YouTube channel only as Christian, the home features a Tuftex deck and awning that is large enough to arrange a sitting area. Both the deck and the bug screen are removable for transportation purposes.

The entryway features an Anderson sliding glass door that provides a wide-open view past the front deck. The custom-fitted privacy curtain covers the space and creates a stunning effect when the sun shines through it.

The kitchen area is compact but very functional. There's plenty of storage and even space for fresh fruit every morning. Those colorful knives add character and charm.

Looking the other direction, reveals the kitchen and dining area with its natural wood cabinetry. A built-in desk with shelving space is neatly tucked into one corner, and the bedroom loft is above it all.

True to Christian's minimalist lifestyle, the bathroom features only the necessities, including a stand-up shower space.

The water heater is an Ecospace propane instant-on system; Christian notes that the water gets "incredibly hot" and estimates that half a tank of water lasted him eight months.

The toilet is a urine-diverting composting toilet; urine is sent with water to the grey water runoff pipe and fecal matter is eventually turned into safe compost. Christian says that mixing fecal matter with sphagnum peat moss before composting "makes for an odorless experience."

Best of all, there is no need to deal with a nasty black water tank!

The bedroom loft is large enough to fit a queen-sized mattress, with room to spare. The niche at the head of the bed is a clever built-in closet.

Christian explains that he is selling his "tiny sanctuary" because it is actually too big -- he is heading west and would like to be more mobile. He notes that this is a turnkey sale, as the house has full electricity (just plug it in to the main house), heat, air conditioning and all appliances.
