Surf & Stream isn't your average RV Resort. Park Model campers on Toms River, New Jersey, campgrounds offer an experience more akin to glamping. Visitors won't have to skimp on anything when sleeping in luxurious interiors and taking advantage of on-site amenities such as a pool, canoe, fire pits and a general store.
The best part is, if you fall in love with one of the cottages, they're up for sale. Or simply take inspiration from the smart design, which features cathedral ceilings and a spacious sunroom.
Park Model cottages feature a large front deck with privacy siding. The facade showcases a mixture of brick and horizontal faux wood siding. Picnic tables offer even more outdoor space, perfect for a meal al fresco.
Inside, the large sunroom is home to a spacious seating area for relaxing and watching TV. Walls of windows let the light stream in, while nautical decor notes such as a rope lamp and large conch shell tie the space into its oceanside setting.
On the other end of the sunroom, a circular dining table seats four. Modern leather dining chairs surround a glass table for a contemporary look. This space would also be ideal for a work desk or sleeper sofa for overnight guests.
Two swing-set patio doors lead from the sunroom to the fully equipped kitchen. A full-sized fridge, oven and stovetop, built-in microwave and dishwasher make cooking a breeze. Here, a cathedral sloped ceiling helps the space feel large and open, and an overhead fan keeps air moving throughout.
Off of the kitchen, a queen bed enhances the spacious bedroom. With the pleated shades drawn, picture windows wake guests to wooded views. Vintage-style wall sconces flank the bed for soft light. The space is home to a bathroom with shower and washer and dryer so guests can really settle in.
The crown jewel of the Surf & Stream campsite is its spacious outdoor pool. The adjacent pool house features restrooms and a general store for concessions and sundries. Bocce courts, shuffle board, volleyball courts and a playground ensure guests never have a dull moment. In addition, Point Pleasant Beach, Seaside Heights Beach and Boardwalk, Sesame Place and Six Flags Great Adventure are all just a short drive away.
