Explore a modern and stylish container home on wheels

California-based TAYNR uses recycled shipping containers to create new structures. The company's Facebook page states that its mission is “to reach, teach and build the case for the container lifestyle.” TAYNR has accomplished this goal slowly but surely.
One of the homes that it has made is the H&G model, which was used to showcase the work lined up for 2018. Trish Grosjean shares that it only took five weeks to complete the 680-square-foot home.

A gray sofa is the focal point of the room. Three rectangular white frames serve as accents to the neutral walls. Several glass windows make the area appear larger than it is. The lighting fixtures on the low ceiling give it an added sense of spaciousness.
This modern kitchen contains a refrigerator, a microwave, a stove and an oven. The built-in white cabinets are ideal for storing plates, bowls and utensils. The island can either be used as a prep area or as a breakfast nook. The slate gray flooring adds character to the space. The open design of the interior allows for a smooth flow of movement from the living room to the kitchen area.
The main bedroom fits a medium-sized bed. The black headboard is a striking contrast to the soft gray walls. Three small circular mirrors, as well as the large rectangular mirror above the bed, are both functional and decorative. The symmetry of the arrangement of the two night lamps on the bedside tables breaks the elongated monotony of the container home.
A bunk bed set up is an excellent idea if you have kids. The gray wall matches the gray frames of the bed. Patterned beddings and assorted throw pillows provide a pop of color and brightness to the room. Comfortably tucked in a corner space of the container home, it serves as a cocoon for restful sleep.

The all-glass shower helps the bathroom feel spacious. The subtle marble pattern on the walls gives a feeling of luxury whereas the polished nickel fixtures add a touch of elegance. A simple black hanging rod completes the look.
