In this Bantam Built tiny home, two lofts are connected by a floating catwalk

Bantam Built – The Tiny House Company is a construction business specializing in tiny homes on wheels. Equipped with all the mobile necessities, Bantam homes can be hitched up in minutes for those who want to relocate in a snap or live off the grid.
This bucolic tiny home was created for a family of three looking to live life untethered. The customers were seeking a rustic, antique feel, so the exterior is clad in cedar siding with a clear finish and large 5-foot French doors.

Inside, dark trim and dark flooring offers farmhouse contrast with white walls. Because the couple have a small child, the most important factor was that the loft sleeping spaces connect in a way that didn't require going up and down a ladder. Bantam designed this unique catwalk to connect the two, incorporating structural steel studs and track to give the catwalk good integrity without vertical struts that would infringe on space underneath. A pipe railing lends both style and safety.
Off of the kitchen, a roomy living space offers plenty of light and square footage for lounging. The master loft is situated above the living room, connected to the smaller loft above the bathroom via the catwalk.
The kitchen includes a large four-burner stove and plenty of upper storage. Roomy white cabinets are accented by dark butcher block countertops, and there is room for a full stainless-steel stove. The roomy farmhouse sink is accented by an oil bronze faucet for a vintage feel.

The bathroom includes a Nature's Head composting toilet for off-the-grid living. The shower surround features custom subway tile, and the vanity offers ample storage for this family of three.
