Escape to this tiny cabin in the woods

The story of Cabinscape begins with Laura and John, the inspiring couple behind the name. On their Instagram page, they introduce themselves as "a couple of outdoor adventurers, canoeists, campers, cabin builders and professional artists living in Toronto."
As professional artists, they decided use their talents to start a business that would connect people with nature. The result is Cabinscape, a luxury camping experience in the back-country of Ontario. Let's see how their story unfolded.

Laura and John know how important it is to escape. They created Cabinscape to give people a chance to experience the same peace and inspiration that they feel when they immerse themselves in nature. This beautiful cabin with cedar siding and black trim is named Auburn. It is the first in a series of tiny cabins that have small footprints but a lot of style, that are off-grid but filled with modern amenities.
Auburn is spacious with room to sleep four. It also has an indoor/outdoor bar with a retractable window overhead.
Choose between an indoor or outdoor shower, for those who want the full fresh-air experience.
The bar and outdoor grill are provided for guests to enjoy the outdoors during every meal.
After Laura and John finished building Auburn, they added Mason to Cabinscape. Mason is a cozy tiny cabin with room for two, or perhaps a solo retreat. There are windows on all sides with breathtaking views through each. Mason is a hike-in cabin, with snowshoes and sled provided.
Mason has an extra-wide retractable window over the bar.
Penner was added to Cabinscape after Mason was completed. It has room to sleep three, but you'll have the same beautiful view of the lake from either bunk.
Open the retractable window over the breakfast bar in Penner, and you've found another perfect spot for morning coffee.
Joni, named after Joni Mitchell, is the next cabin that became part of Cabinscape. The storage is thoughtfully designed so that all you need —dishes, cutlery, glasses, even seasonings — are all within reach but out of the way.
Joni can sleep three because the couch, where you spent the day reading a book with a pot of tea, can be converted to a queen bed. On their Cabinscape page, Laura mentions what she likes about decorating their cabins. "One of my favourite things about setting these tiny cabins up is curating our tiny book collection and finding the perfect vintage tea pots and mugs for our guests to enjoy."
The Dashi cabin is one of the most recent additions to Cabinscape. It has room to sleep four, and the kitchen storage is ample. Two couples or a family of four can create a feast in this back-country hideaway.
After spending a day exploring in the woods, a comfortable bed and peaceful view will put you right to sleep.
Hideaway Camp is a special winter camping adventure for those who like a rustic experience in a luxurious setting.
A queen bed and a wood stove with plenty of firewood are just what you need to sleep in the fresh air in warmth and comfort.

Laura and John created Cabinscape to provide a wilderness escape, and it is their way of life as well as their business. They bring their young daughter with them so that she will fall in love with the outdoors as they have. They know that spending time in nature is good for the soul. As they've pointed out, "For those with little ones, the best way to combat climate apathy is to raise your child in nature. Raise them wild. Raise them aware. Raise them grateful."
