Take a tour of this cute cottage designed on a budget — every room is full of charm

Revamp Homegoods is a blog written by Meg Padgett about budget-friendly and DIY home decor. Padgett believes you don't have to break the bank to have a stylish home. This cute red-door cottage that she fixed up with her husband is located in Chinook, Washington.
Step inside, and you'll find the love of design in every nook and cranny. Each space includes multiple DIY projects or revamped pieces, and the hard work paid off. What once was an ordinary, rundown house is now a unique and chic home full of personality.

The entryway features a built-in nook for bags and shoes. The dining area is separated by a pony wall. Multiple windows brighten the space.
There's no wasted space in this dining area. Banquet seating provides extra storage and a cozy spot to enjoy meals for few or several people.
In the kitchen, the couple painted the cabinets, raised the uppers and installed crown molding. The small kitchen is now cheerful and welcoming.
In the living room, you'll find colorful furniture and accessories. Open shelving flanks the fireplace, making it a stylish focal point.
The bedroom is painted a soothing blue color. Layers of fluffy textiles add to the cozy and relaxing atmosphere.
The kids' room is a shared space with a loft bed on one side and a crib on the opposite wall. One wall is painted with chalkboard paint, the perfect canvas for kids to doodle on.
Near the crib, a striped wall with playful artwork makes for a whimsical space just right for little ones.
