Make sure to check out the fabulous living area in this unique floating home

It's a house that floats and not a houseboat - that's the clear distinction Mark Junak, from Floating Homes Ltd., makes about his company's newest Chichester model.
This interesting dwelling was designed by Baca Architects and took four months to complete. It resides within a disused canal on its namesake location, the UK's Chichester Marina, and is currently Mark and Holly Junak's humble abode.

Want to see what makes this unique prototype so special? Let's dive in a little closer.
The house sits on a concrete hull foundation. This was the first thing that was constructed, closely followed by the modular structure on show.
While the build itself didn't take as long, the entire project was a culmination of 11 years of planning.
All that hard work paid off, both inside and out. Serenity surrounds us as we enter a home with brilliant interiors.
A staircase enables the Junaks to open up the skylights and revel in their rooftop deck views.
Closing in from a birds' eye perspective, you'll notice that the living area is a well-defined hub of relaxation and productivity.
Metallic lighting fixtures introduce a futuristic flair to the exquisitely furnished open-plan dining area and kitchen.
Comfort seeps in as we snuggle into the Chichester's chic sleeping quarters.
Large windows with natural light ensures the bedroom stays true to this home's natural lighting conventions.
While windows may not be a prominent feature in the bathroom, a sleek composition of elements brings a special sparkle to this elegant room.

What's not to love about this floating abode? On the outside, the Chichester marvels us with its modern aesthetics. Inside, the contemporary elements carry through and are greatly embellished by its pristine lighting touches. Needless to say, the finished product is a sustainable masterpiece that anyone would feel proud to claim as their own.
