1. Well-lit cottage with two-story windows from Architectural Designs.
This eye-catching home from Architectural Designs features beautiful two-story windows, and measures 808 square feet (75 square meters). The large fireplace is located in the open concept living and dining room, which overlooks the deck outside. An L-shaped kitchen is tucked away behind the dining area. The back of the home is taken up by a bedroom and a bathroom with a tub. A flight of stairs leads up to the second-floor sleeping loft, which is open to the living and dining room below.
2. Rustic craftsman design from Max House Plans.
Coming in at 804 square feet (74 square meters), this floor plan from Max House Plans features an open concept main living area with lofty vaulted ceilings. A fireplace is on the far left side of the room, and the eat-in kitchen is off to the right. At the back of the home, the large master suite includes a bathroom with a tub, a laundry room, and double doors that lead out to a deck. The loft upstairs is accessed by a ladder, and it features vaulted ceilings, built-in storage, and enough room to sleep four people of needed.

This family-friendly design from Family Home Plans measures 788 square feet (73 square meters), and it brings to mind summer days at the lake. A wraparound deck envelops the great room, which can be accessed through doors on either side. The kitchen is found along the back wall of this room. Small hallways are found on either side of the kitchen, each leading to a bedroom and a bathroom with a shower.
4. Charming country cottage from ePlans.
Measuring 950 square feet (88 square meters), this design from ePlans features a large loft as well as a first-floor bedroom. A few steps lead up to the front porch, and the front door opens right into the great room. The fireplace is on the right-hand wall, and directly behind this is an eat-in kitchen with a dining nook set in a box window. The bedroom and bathroom are off to the left, and the loft upstairs features a built-in desk and a large closet.

This charming rancher from Houseplans comes in at 950 square feet (88 square meters), not including the back deck or the attached garage. With vaulted ceilings and a cozy fireplace, the living room looks like a pleasant space to relax. An eat-in kitchen is partially separated from the living room by a counter. Off to the left, a hallway leads to a large master bedroom, a bathroom with a tub, and a second bedroom with a window seat. The master bedroom boasts a walk-in closet.

At 613 square feet (57 square meters), this one bedroom home from Architectural Designs has plenty of space for a couple to live comfortably. The front door opens into the L-shaped kitchen, and the living room is just off to the left. Here, a fireplace in the corner of the room leaves plenty of space for windows on both walls. The large bedroom is found in the back left corner, while a bathroom with a tub and a laundry closet is on the right.
7. Open concept contemporary home from ePlans.
This lovely home from ePlans comes in at 864 square feet (80 square meters) and includes a large outdoor terrace for some extra living space. Inside the home, the open concept living room and kitchen are illuminated by natural light streaming in through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Sloped ceilings add interest to the space, and the fireplace keeps it nice and cozy. A bathroom is located behind the kitchen, and two equally-sized bedrooms take up the back portion of the home.
