Embrace the nomadic lifestyle as you snuggle into this converted bus's lovely bedroom

Imagine if you could live the converted bus dream as you cruised along the European highways. Sounds too good to be true? Then you're in for a surprise.
After a lifetime of adventuring and globetrotting, Val Cook and Tim Boffe took a leap of faith and decided to convert an American school bus into a dreamy nomadic getaway. Admittedly, it was a bit of a bumpy ride with pit stops and obstacles along the way. But their moving hostel is now all geared up and ready to welcome kindred traveling souls.

So let's embrace the experience as we take the Nomads Bus for a test drive.
But hurry - the bus lives up to its name by moving from one location to the next.
Currently, you'll find Val, Tim, their daughter Fenna, and Lewis, the dog in Bilbao. At the end of September, they will be saying "agur" ("Good Bye" in Euskera, in case you're wondering) to this fine Spanish city as they make their way to Biarritz in France.
Your hosts have garnered a lot of support along their travels - each side of the converted bus displays a growing list of sponsors.
A quick bird's eye view before we board the Nomads Bus. Solar panels have been installed on the roof to make sure this family home is a model for sustainability.
Wondering how to reach this mobile hostel? If you're not too far away, Val and Tim can pick you up. Otherwise, it's all a matter of planning.
"Family" is the word as you make yourself at home. Given that the couple value the time and effort that goes into a home-cooked meal, it's no wonder that there are two fold-out dining tables inside this dwelling.
As you make your way past the living and eating space, you will reach the charming kitchen. Don't you just love that red wood-burner stove?
There are no frills in the shelving and counters. But it's not like we need it. Everything is primp and proper, ready to be enjoyed to its fullest.
Bedding is generous and colorful. While Val and Tim have specific rules around family bookings, they welcome kids on board - especially since Lewis and little Fenna love to have new friends to play with.
Let's take a closer look at your snug sleeping corner. Special mention goes to the bedside windows, which have been carved in the shape of Let's Be Nomads' logo.
Now we move past the comfy bunkers to reach the very back of the bus. Make sure to appreciate the family pictures mounted on the walls before we reach our final destination.
With that we reach the cozy bathroom, where you'll find a shower to your right.
And a composting toilet to the left. Once again, the Nomads logo makes a special appearance.
"Let's Be Nomads", says Val, Tim and the rest of the family. With a converted bus like this one, it's hard not to get bitten by the travel bug. Don't feel like you're missing out on the action: the plan is to have this mobile hostel on the road for three years. Even with a rocky start, we're sure this project is going to be smooth sailing from here onward.
