The Monte Carlo is part of Gran Design WA's SmartVilla range. It is a spacious house made with two adjoined container pods, each measuring 20-feet (6.1-meters) in length.
Granny flats like the Monte Carlo have been crafted with the intention of providing world-class accommodation for Perth's elderly population. However, everyone can enjoy a living space like this one, and Gran Designs WA even suggest that these houses could serve as an office space, additional accommodation or even as a first home.
Floating timber floors lined with veneered plywood add a classical touch to the lush interiors. All the windows and sliding doors are double-glazed and framed with aluminium.
This is what the Monte Carlo looks like with a few decorative pieces, while lacking kitchen appliances. While kitchen appliances are not included in the Monte Carlo package, electrical and cold water provisions are. You just need to get everything connected up and your kitchen will be good to go.
Here is what you get when you fully furnish the kitchen. By default, a Monte Carlo kitchen consists of quartz stone counter tops, a four-drawer kitchen unit, cupboards with metal handles, a toughened glass kitchen sink, and lighting fixtures over the kitchen island.
Deluxe amenities flourish in the bathroom. Here you will find a vanity with quartz stone bench top, a mirrored shaving cabinet, a toughened glass shower, and a china toilet. Flooring is made with rectified porcelain tiles, and Premium Series bathroom accessories are included in this area too.
Finally, the bedroom's minimalist details produce a polished and relaxing ambiance.
With a comfortable double bed and a spacious wardrobe, this stylish bedroom really fulfills Gran Designs' goal of creating living quarters that make people feel at ease.
