Warm wooden accents and hand-hewn details create farmhouse style in 330 square feet

Sometimes you have to think tiny to live big. That's the ethos behind Wind River Tiny Homes — a custom builder based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Wind River's goal is to make the American dream possible by crafting sustainable, quality tiny homes.
The Noah is a prime example. This 28-foot tiny home feels more like a modern farmhouse. Outside, cedar lap siding pairs with LP SmartSide siding for a construction that's equal parts functional and appealing.

Inside, natural wood accents create an inviting atmosphere finished in natural tung-oiled poplar shiplap and espresso-stained birch hardwood flooring. High ceilings and windows on two levels lend grandeur, while recessing lighting illuminates the space. White shiplap walls offer a clean complement to the warmer woods.
Minimal hardware finishes gray shaker cabinets in the kitchen. Open shelving hangs above the butcher block countertops. A custom steel welded ladder leads up to the loft in front of a natural poplar accent wall. Tucked behind the ladder, a 3/4 fridge offers plenty of space to store food.
A roomy apron-front farmhouse sink features a high-neck stainless steel faucet. Water is sourced through a freshwater hose inlet with pressure regulator and a single gray water outlet. An electric glass cooktop allows easy meal preparation in a slim design.
Next to the kitchen, the custom fold-down table offers the perfect place to eat or study. It easily stashes away when not in use for seamless entry to the sleeping loft.
A poplar accent wall makes a statement to the left of the entry. A high-efficiency ductless mini-split A/C and heater warms and cools the home in a small profile.
A custom-welded railing offers safety in the 12-foot loft, which can serve as storage space or a second bedroom. Knotty pine tongue-and-groove ceilings create a warm ambiance.
In the master bedroom, a custom-built storage platform can accommodate a queen sized bed. For a headboard, a natural poplar accent wall holds built-in sconces.
In the bathroom, a compact 18-inch micro vanity features a small vessel sink and a modern stainless steel faucet. Three-panel pocket doors offer privacy from the rest of the home. Sleek modernity describes the walk-in shower, which is outfitted in gray tile.

Another pocket door separates the Nature's Head Waterless Composting Toilet. The bathroom also offer space and connections for a 24-inch combination washer/dryer. All in, the home is turn-key for $69,000 and weighs 13,000 pounds.
