Step inside the Lupine tiny home. It was built for modern comfort

Enjoying the views outside was a prime consideration for the owners of this tiny home. Wind River Tiny Homes made the Lupine, as this 32-inch tiny house on a gooseneck trailer model is called. The Tennessee-based company, which specializes in custom-built tiny houses, worked hand in hand with the owners to come up with their dream home.
The home’s final destination was a place that had a great view looking over a cliff. This was an essential consideration during the designing process. The front of the house was intentionally designed to have only a single window and a no-light door, whereas the back side of the house features several windows to take advantage of the scenery outside.

The color palette of the home's exterior consists mostly of muted colors. The trim was painted with Black Fox by Sherwin Williams, whereas gray was chosen for the LPSmartSide siding. The black Tuff-Rib metal roof protects the house from the elements.
This cozy sitting area is at one end of the house. The white walls contrast nicely with the dark wood ceiling and the hardwood floor. A stowable ladder leads to the storage loft, and a Grizzly Cubic Mini wood stove provides heating inside the house.
Making meals in this kitchen is easy on the waterfall butcher block countertops, and cleanup is quick at the stainless steel drop-in sink. Classic white subway tiles form the backsplash, and custom built shaker-style cabinets provide plenty of storage space. The breakfast bar can comfortably sit two. The cross-beam on the ceiling with accent lighting adds rustic charm to the space.
The gooseneck area of the home hosts the bedroom, which means there is enough headroom for one person to be able to stand up comfortably in the space. A custom built-in storage bed allows for a restful sleep for its occupants. A Velux skylight includes a solar powered auto-darkening shade.
The bathroom features a Kohler Cimmaron gravity flush toilet. A simple yet elegant river rock free-standing sink blends well with the wooden tongue and groove walls. The gray tile floor breaks up the monotony of the predominantly brown color scheme.

As you step on the teak-wood shower platform, you will immediately notice the black fiberglass shower pan right below it. A huge glass window allows a view of the outside while you delight under the gush of water spouting from the rainfall shower head.
