Couple sells roomy home and moves full-time into 1969 Airstream the next day

Danny and Kyla are Waco, Texas, residents and parents to their French bulldog, Flynn. The couple decided to sell their roomy home and moved into their renovated 1969 Airstream, lovingly named Thistle, the next day.
Getting Thistle to the state she's in today was no simple task. Danny and Kyla gutted the entire interior, painting it a sleek coat of white and installing dark ash wood flooring. Through many hours of work and decoration, the Airstream today is a place they can call home situated on a permanent campground site.

Aside from a good power wash, the couple mostly left Thistle's exterior alone. They built chevron wood steps for an easy entryway and added a new awning, allowing the Airstream to boast a true outdoor space when they are parked.
The kitchen sports white hexagonal tile backsplash, accompanied by butcher block countertops and a roomy farmhouse sink. White cabinetry features sleek bronze hardware that complements the pull-down faucet. Next to the cabinets is a full-size stainless steel refrigerator.
A built in banquette creates a cozy living space in the corridor leading to the bedroom. Underneath, storage areas offer room to stash accessories and a favorite sleeping space for Flynn. Textural throw pillows complement the graphic throw rug underfoot.
Above the sofa, Kyla created a mini gallery wall with a collection of artwork, including a watercolor thistle in honor of the Airstream's namesake.
Across from the banquette, a DIY entertainment center offers room for the TV and boho baskets to hold home goods and Kyla's shoe collection.
A fringy curtain creates privacy for a quiet respite in the living space. The couple handmade the chevron entry door.
At the back of the camper, the bedroom offers permanent sleeping space with a roomy bed and ample storage underneath. A white duvet is accented by fringe trim, tribal throw pillows and knit blankets. Macrame hanging baskets hold plants for a touch of greenery in this sunny spot.

Perhaps the most remarkable transformation is the bathroom, which features a bucolic-patterned wallpaper. The butcher block counter is topped with a small vessel sink and dark bronze faucet.
