This shipping container started out as an empty shell and is now a stunning home

Artists Pamela and Matthew bought land in Upstate New York with the goal of turning it into a place where they can unwind on the weekends. After setting up their garden and the greenhouse, it was time to start thinking about housing. They decided to go the shipping container route because they just wanted something small and eco-friendly.
In her website, Brooklyn Farm Girl, Pamela shared some valuable tips if you are thinking of getting a shipping container to turn into your future home. Her first tip is you need to ask different companies because prices vary depending on where you buy the container – and prices change weekly. Also, don't forget to add in shipping costs.
