Tiny pink cottage will win you over with its bright, whimsical interior

This pink piece of paradise is located on Tybee Island, a barrier island and popular vacation spot near Savannah, Ga. The home was designed by Jane Coslick, who calls herself "a maven on saving historic homes from demolition and preserving their integrity." Appropriately nicknamed the Luscious Little Cottage, it is a sweet and cheerful retreat.
The historic home was originally built in the 1920s, used as housing for engineers who were building the road to Tybee Island. The layout includes a living room and kitchen combined space, one bedroom and one bathroom. In the backyard, a separate building called "The Roost" houses two twin beds for additional sleeping space.

The colorful living room features plenty of local artwork, cushy seating, and a sea blue rug. A Tybee Island shipping crate is re-purposed as a unique coffee table.
The armchairs are slip covered in vintage Carlton Varney fabric. The bright white walls provide a sleek and simple backdrop for all the colorful furniture and accessories.
The cottage was fully renovated in 2008 and now the little white kitchen is modern and functional. White cabinets, white counter tops and white ship lap walls create a harmonious space.
The bedroom area is separated by a vertical half-wall divider for privacy. A well-chosen detail, like the little lobster-shaped wall sconce, is what makes each space so charming.
The effortless white bathroom is full of bright light thanks to a window with gorgeous views of the coastal scenery.
A separate building out back called "The Roost" is actually a restored elevated ticket booth. Painted pink and yellow to match the main house, it's definitely a bonus feature to an already gorgeous home.

Inside "The Roost" you'll find adorable twin beds made of old driftwood from Tybee beaches. More bright colors and expertly mixed textile patterns make it a happy oasis.
