See the intelligent design of a 192-square-foot container home: It fits all you need

At the core of tiny living is the idea that downsizing is the way towards sustainability.
In many ways, that is what today's Montainer-made container home promises to deliver.
More than a portmanteau, Montainer is a lifestyle mantra. This is a Montana-based tiny home builder that exclusively uses recycled shipping containers in all of their constructions. Specializing in personalized, move-in ready designs, this building company is dedicated to bringing simple and efficient homes to everyone who desires to make a leap toward smaller living.

One of their most recent designs, dubbed the Nomad, shows a dedication to a modest, yet unabridged lifestyle. You'll see what we mean once we commence touring this dwelling.
These yellow exteriors are sure to brighten up anyone's day. Measuring just 192 square feet (17.83 square meters) in area, the Nomad is replete with the best facilities.

Montainers feature unprecedented security with rolling and locking steel barn doors, providing you peace of mind when away from home.

It comes with the additional security of rolling doors, as you can see in this picture, and solar panels ensure that sustainability is part of the package too.
There's even a side entrance for quick access to the inside.
We're already welcomed by great amenities as we enter these compact quarters. Full insulation is the norm in every Montainer construction, and all of their container homes come with customized furnishings.
This picture is from one of the many show-homes Montainer took its Nomad to. As you can see, there is enough space for a three-seater couch in the living room.

Everything you need in one 24' shipping container!!

Because of its confined space, the Nomad's living room actually doubles up as a sleeping area.
The house has an open plan design, with kitchen and bathroom right within one's reach. Don't be too intimidated by how exposed the shower appears to be in this photo, though.
Because, really, installing opaque privacy glass is always an option.
See? Even the toilet is easily concealed from view.
And space is used creatively by installing the shower and basin next to each other.
