Check out this stunning remodel: Completely fresh yet full of historic charm

This small bungalow in Atlanta, Georgia, is just over 1,000 square feet (93 square meters) and has been completely restored. The remodel was done by Historical Concepts, a traditional architectural firm that is dedicated to "capturing the spirit of the past while fully embracing the present."
The new interior incorporates salvaged materials and period appropriate details that pay homage to the home's 1910 origins. The original pine beams were even re-purposed as a kitchen counter top! Check out every gorgeous nook and cranny in the full photo tour below.

The crown molding was custom milled to match the original woodwork. Traditional furniture, accented with a modern color pallet, makes the space feel updated yet timeless.
The new kitchen has a fresh farmhouse feel with polished nickel lighting, white cabinets, and a moss green island. The salvaged wood countertop was finished with polyurethane for durability.
Black granite counter tops, classic subway tile, and well-placed lighting make this space cozy yet bright. It's the perfect spot to prepare a delicious meal with family and friends.
The bathroom is traditional and luxurious with a custom vanity and granite countertop. The angled sconce lights add an unexpected touch.
With this angle, you can see that the bathroom doubles as a laundry room. A closet sized perfectly for a stackable washer and dryer ensures the space doesn't look cluttered.
The fireplace in the bedroom is original, and adds the type of historic charm that can't be manufactured. A soothing blue paint color makes the room a relaxing retreat.
