Come inside a flawless tiny house for a family of 3: The kitchen is awesome

Tiny living is a growing trend, and the Whitehead family have just picked up a seat. The owners of this 28-foot-long by 8.5-foot-wide tiny home, currently parked in the vicinity of San Francisco, find themselves in an interesting situation, as they are currently among the 25 finalists in a #WhyISoFi $150K contest that could quickly change their financial future.
The homeowners are the Whitehead family, made up of Micah, Jana and "little Silas," a toddler who sometimes toddles into view in the gallery of family portraits.

The house
But it's the house that intrigues us, as it represents the family's quest for a sustainable and flexible lifestyle, according to the family's promotional material, which was kindly sent to us along with some lovely photos.
Let's drop in and see what the home is like.
First floor
The long view of the home shows a lot of white paint; the kitchen and sleeping loft appear very far away. Note the ladder just visible in the left foreground of this photo -- a hint that the photographer is perched in the second of the home's two lofts.

Reverse view
Here's the reverse view, which faces the second loft. The second loft is used as a lounge and features a TV, toys and "a ridiculous amount of pillows," the family says.

This wide-angle shot gives a great view of the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, full sink, and fridge.

Sleeping loft
Flat white walls and facing windows make this sleeping loft elegant and cozy. The brightness really opens up the space.

The staircase leading up the loft area doubles as a storage area.

Bathroom
With or without a toddler, a fully functioning bathroom is a very handy feature for a tiny house, some of which do without indoor plumbing.
