This adventurous blue bus will delight you with its minimalist open-plan living area

Another day, another converted bus dream come true. Today's road trip features the Blue Bus Adventure – a creative project masterminded by Nick Cahill and Jessica Perez.
According to an interview on Insomniac, the duo's drive to live more sustainably inspired them to purchase a blue 1988 Thomas school bus from Craigslist. With the new roadside companion in tow, Nick recruited some of his friends to labor over the construction, and Jessica was tasked with designing the interior.

So, how did they go? You're about to find out. Brace yourselves: The end product is quite remarkable.
It took a year and a half to complete the conversion. Initially, the idea was to construct a camper that Nick and Jessica could take to the Burning Man music festival. Their passion for the craft propelled them to make the natural progression of turning this bus into a fully fledged tiny home.
The exteriors are a treasure trove of signature touches. Did you notice the stained glass details on the doors? That originally came with the bus itself: The couple liked it so much, they decided to keep it!
An efficient open-plan design was chosen for the interiors. Essential amenities are at the fore of this adventurous abode, bringing a sense of minimalist comfort for these two eco-conscious souls.

Seems everyone likes the inside photos the most. Here is our side table and couch.

That couch looks quite roomy, doesn't it? Quite fitting for a hospitable wheeled dwelling like this one.
And perfect for those days where you just want to crash and get some much-needed shuteye.
As you can see, the kitchen is aptly replenished with functional appliances.
...and it comes with a bit of artistry too. How cool are those custom-made cabinets?
Now we get to the fun part: Converting the back of the bus into a dreamy sleeping space.

Here is our back bed half converted from sitting to sleeping mode.

All you have to do is fold out the daily seating arrangements.

Our adventure sits like this for a couple of weeks. Its wrench time!
