Take a peek at a tiny house perfect for a country setting and with a great kitchen

Tiny Mountain Houses, which has an official presence in Washington, Oregon, and California, likes to name their diminutive houses after impressively large mountains.
The company lists 17 models of tiny homes on their website, all of them named for some of the earth's most vertically impressive structures. There's the Grand Teton, the Mt. Kilimanjaro, Chinook Peak and -- why dream small? -- the Mt. Everest.

Sure, the Mt. Everest is 29,029-feet tall, which means the tiny, mobile house that bears its name is scaled back a bit, given the maximum height of a load on U.S. roads is expected to be less than 14 feet or so. Still, the home and the mountain share a proud, rural purpose in life. If it's about rugged individualism, we'll give this house full credit. Let's take a look.

Putting Mt. Everest in perspective, here is the home on display. Even in this shot, the home looks ready-made for a country setting.

Here's the long view with the photograph taken from just inside the front door. The kitchen is in the background and the walled-in space to the right of that is the bathroom.

Here's a great view of the kitchen. The 22-feet long home includes an optional staircase, a washer/dryer, and a four-burner countertop range, according to the company website. It also features a "fully tiled back-splash" in the kitchen, a full-depth stainless steel sink and a single-lever brushed nickel kitchen faucet.
This photo shows the handsome sink and the beautiful counter and tiling.
This shot shows the countertop, the tiling and some of the cabinets. The chrome underneath the counter is the half-size refrigerator.

Lots of head room, large windows, natural wood are all part of the Mt. Everest story. The large corner posts for the bed, and the decorative trim on the far wall made of bark-stripped branches give this loft the look of a mountain cabin.
