Discover a perfect combination of rustic and elegant in a container home with all you need

Stepping into the Tin Can Cabin is like exploring the coziest cabin you've ever been inside. Only 480 square feet (45 sq. m) in size, the cabin still manages to feel airy, welcoming and open enough for one to two people to enjoy. Done in calming shades of eggshell, cream, brown and white, the cabin commands you to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of northern Wisconsin.
Including a full-sized kitchen, living room, small sleeping space and bathroom, the cabin has all of the necessities covered. The textured ceilings add to the appeal (while making it easy to hang fixtures with magnets!). A combination of rustic and elegant, the minimal yet tastefully simple setup makes for the perfect getaway.

As you enter the cabin, you'll see a desk/office area, along with a wood-burning stove in the corner to keep things toasty during the winter. A dining table seats four and uses a pendant light for a warm glow. Exposed wood beams lend a contemporary look to the cottage.
The small but fully functional kitchen includes a sink, wooden counters, plenty of drawers and cabinets for storage (including space-saving overhead cabinets) and a small cooktop. Wood laminate flooring gives the home a polished look.
No space is wasted in this kitchen; in fact, spices and cookware are stored on top of the cabinets!
The living area has room for a couch, chair, coffee table and some wooden shelves. Much of the home's furniture came from IKEA.
The oversized windows let in plenty of natural light, making the living room an inviting place to sit and relax. Electricity is solar-powered, meaning the home is eco-friendly, too.
Check out the view from the windows and all the lush grounds the home sits on! The area is so picturesque. Curtains can close at the end of the day for privacy.
A small but utterly adorable bathroom houses a toilet and a stand-up shower, complete with a shabby chic touch — a metal tub under the shower. While the shower is quaint and cute, the owner does hope to upgrade it in the future (or at least add a larger tub!), but it does have a lot of character this way.
The sleeping nook, or "micro bedroom," has comfortable bunk beds as well as a wardrobe for clothing storage. It's a great spot to enjoy reading or relaxing as well as sleeping!
