Come aboard a cute teeny tiny houseboat with a bright and cheerful interior

Docked at Monroe Bay in Virginia, the Otter House, according to Robin Mae Schick's Airbnb listing, offers plenty of space for one or two guests. Built on a pontoon boat frame, the Otter House is named so for its otter decor inside as well as the fact that otters liked to frequent the pontoon platform before the home was built.
Created to offer an eco-friendly experience, the boat is powered by a solar panel installed on the roof. The Otter House also uses energy-saving LED lighting and recycled materials.

The boat features colorful decor inside, including a lime green sofa and navy curtains. The color-changing LED lights create a relaxing atmosphere. The white interior is bright, fresh, and cheerful.
At night, the bed pulls out to sleep two guests. The boat also offers a high-efficiency air conditioner, stereo system, television, and Wi-Fi, all powered by the sun. Cute otter touches, such as the throw pillows, give a nod to the boat's name.
The boat offers a small deck with two chairs. Exit the boat through a sliding glass door, and enjoy the view of the marina and the sea from the small space. For variety, there's also a rooftop deck, accessible by ladder.
You really can't beat the sun setting over the ocean! Talk about a great way to end the day.
Though the Otter House is small, it's a fun experience to stay there and see why this boat is so popular in the community. The Otter House has even been in parades and travels with ease!
