Welcome to Seattle's lovely Rutabaga houseboat

For those who love water and the idea of tiny living, a houseboat may be exactly what you're looking for. Not only does it qualify as a tiny home, but it floats on the water and gives the owners waterfront property. The Rutabaga Houseboat, according to VRBO, is located on Lake Union in Wash.
With only 450 square feet (42 square meters), this houseboat is actually classified as a house barge. Airbnb states that the boat is near Seattle, sitting between Fremont and Ballard. The boat is set up to sleep four but contains an air mattress that will allow two additional people to stay on the boat. Michael, the owner of the houseboat, bought the boat as a fixer-upper and has restored it into a great place to stay when you're away from home.

The main level of the houseboat contains the living room, kitchen and bathroom. The sofa opens up to create a double bed.
The beautiful woodworking inside the boat makes it a homey place to crash when you're done sightseeing. VRBO points out that the boat has three wall heaters to heat the boat so people can stay toasty warm.
A cozy table for two sits to one side of the living room, but others can sit comfortably in the living room and use the coffee table when enjoying a meal.
A full-sized kitchen makes cooking meals a breeze.
A cheerful backsplash keeps the kitchen bright and cheery. Plenty of shelves and space-saving devices have been included to help keep the kitchen from getting cluttered.
The second floor has the bedroom and an outside deck that's perfect for enjoying the outdoors.
A queen-sized bed and wardrobe completes the master bedroom.
The bathroom has a flush toilet, sink and shower. All the basic amenities are included.
The second-floor deck has a unique tree table and a gorgeous view.
